Sharing with Dozer is fun!

 
Alex had so much fun sharing with Dozer today. I was so glad that Dozer was so patient with Alex. He isn't always so comfortable with her. He of course will take any handouts. If you are wondering why he is wearing that stupid cone it is because he cannot seem to leave his wound alone from when he was hit in November of 2008. It has almost been 2 years and it is so frustrating. Apparently they call this licking obsession a lick granuloma. I sure hope it will someday go away.

I think that Alex looks a little like her cousin Kail and Kolter. This is Kail and she is such a sweetheart! She was so cute with Alex. She is 4 years old and is one of Brittany's flower girls. Brittany is Alex's Aunt. This photo was taken at Brittany's bridal shower in White Sulphur.

A brush for your teeth, that's weird...

Alex has 8 teeth and one more working its way through. I have been using a washcloth to brush her teeth until now. I finally gave her a toothbrush and Daddy showed her what to do. She really watched him with a close eye. I think she liked to bite it more than anything. It was cute to watch!

Zzzzzzz

It is truly a gift from God that I get to cuddle and watch my little girl dream so peacefully. She doesn't fall asleep easily but once she does it is worth the wait to watch her. I often wonder what babies dream of, perhaps right now it is of her walking. She is trying so hard. At least she crawls up on all fours now instead of doing the army crawl. Now it is dreamtime for myself.

Alexandra enjoys the simple things in life. What we may see as a weed, is not to her. A good life lesson for me today. Sometimes I wonder who is learning more, Alex.or myself.

Riding Around

Alex just loves to move. It doesn't matter if it is learning to walk or riding around with Daddy.

A day at the park with a friend!

Everyone should have a friend to learn from and laugh with. Alex had a great day with her new friend Alexa Hamilton. They are 6 months apart. It is amazing to watch what 6 months can do as far as growth and socialization goes. I can tell it is going to be another 6 months full of new discoveries and experiences. Alex also went down the slide all by herself for the first time!

Alex has new snuggle friend!

Alexandra has a hard time falling asleep. Callie (her soon-to-be Monday sitter) let me borrow her daughter's leap frog "My Pal" doggie. It can be programmed with a computer to individualize what it says. Callie's daughter is named Alexa so it is perfect! She fell asleep in 5 minutes tonight. This may only last a little while, but I'll take what I can get.

We had so much fun hiking at logan pass! The hidden lake trail is breathtaking.

Hiking

Glacier National Park is very special to my family. It is wonderful to share our love of Glacier with my baby girl. We hiked to Avalanche lake in Glacier Park today!
