4-wheelin with Mama
Baby it's cold outside, but that doesn't stop us from having fun. Alex LOVES the four-wheeler! I cannot wait for summer weather to be able to go farther on the four-wheeler with her. We have to go pretty slow but it is worth it. The smiles are well worth it.

Courtesy of Chef Boyardee

We are fans of spaghetti O's in my house, but the left over orange color is annoying on clothes. I let her eat them with no shirt on. I know it is crazy, but she ends up with it all over. She loves tomato sauce but I have too many clothes that can get stained. She is very proud of herself when she is messy. Oh my!

Emmalin's shower

Alex enjoyed attending Emmalin's shower. Emmalin is the daughter of Terri Fischer, who is a teacher friend of mine. Emmalin is from Guatemala and it has taken about 3 years for the adoption to go through. We are so glad that she is here. While Emmalin was opening her gifts, Alex helped herself to Emmalin's cake. It looked like her 1st birthday all over again.

Shopping with a view

We are too old to be a baby in the shopping cart. This was the first time she got to ride in the cart like a big girl. She was excited and talked the whole way out of the store. I love how she has her arm up on the side of the box like she is hangin' out.

Tea time with Grandma

Alex has been sick with a cold and fussy. When Grandma Kieffer came back to Townsend today she wanted to cheer her up by playing tea time with her. She loved it. She just loves this green chair she got from Grandpa and Grandma Bakken. Mommy of course had to go purchase another chair and table just her size too. This tea set came from the Watson's and she has another new tea set from her babysitter Callie. Mommy joined in after this photo was taken and we had quite the tea party with both the sets.

Choo choo time

Grandpa Bakken got Alex a starter Sante Fe "O" gauge engine set for Chritmas. I have learned so much about trains the past few days. I love it and I see how somebody can get addicted to buying them on ebay. There are so many cool accessories. There is even a Great Nothern boxcar and engine for Lionel train sets. I am not going to lie, I played with the train set more than Alex =).
